![]() ![]() A few minutes later it would start again. The mower would run for 10 minutes or so then die. I put in a new switch and reattached that wire. This makes the engine die by shutting off the fuel solenoid and running the engine out of fuel. Their answer to the issue was to abandon the white kill wire on the switch. The ignition switch had been replaced prior to me buying it with a used aftermarket switch. Do I need to be looking at this as the root of the problem? I bought the mower used and have done a great deal of work to it with this being the final and hardest hurdle. Also I have seen where Kohler sells a clamping diode kit for the PTO clutch. Can you tell me what the spec is or if kohler offers a replacement part for this please? The one I have removed was a 1N4006 diode. The diode in the wiring harness coming from the ignition coils has gone bad and I believe was replaced at some point in the past with the incorrect diode. Questions-or-comments= I have a Kohler CH 23S on a John Deere M653 mower. ![]()
